Doobrey Watsit, (pictured above) 2nd prize in the steer sired by a Native bull class at both Devon County and Royal Cornwall in 2006, beaten both times by an Angus x Limousin. Sired by Black Banner X1 of Idvies. Weighing 720 kilos at slaughter, killing out at U-4L.
Previous years, 2003:

Lynher Valley Jake, sired by Tegnose Karmen, won the class at Devon County and Royal Cornwall, and 2004: Lynher Valley Wally, sired by Black Banner X1 of Idvies, won the class at Devon County. Both were sold at Taunton Market Angus Sale for £670 and £715.

As a breeder of beef cattle, I feel Primestock showing is important. Steers and heifers are shown at local and national level.
1st Primestock Show of 2006, The National Beef Association's Beef & Growing Cattle Event, 'Billy Whizz' (sired by Black Banner X1 of Idvies) won 1st prize in the Native Steer Class. National Primestock Show: Billy Whizz 3rd prize any other Pure Native. Royal Smithfield: Billy Whizz 3rd prize medium weight Angus sired steer. Sold for £1.65 a kilo.
